The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Agent to join a technically unique Utilities/Water project in East London. This project involves replacing significant Victorian elevated sewer pipelines crossing Network Rail, DLR, and LUL lines, alongside critical bridge replacement works.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the project development team, where your critical thinking and expertise can have a significant impact on shaping and delivering this complex and unique project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage some site activities for the project.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including rail and utility stakeholders.
- Oversee bridge replacements and pipeline installations, solving technical challenges.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Develop and monitor schedules and budgets.
- Act as a primary liaison for client and stakeholder communications.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven history of managing self-delivered civil engineering projects.
- Strong background in utilities, water infrastructure, or similar projects.
- Experience working on projects involving Network Rail, DLR, or LUL assets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of bridge replacement works.
- Critical thinking, leadership, and excellent communication skills.
Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS certification.
- PTS qualification is desirable but not essential.
