A leading Tier One M&E contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team delivering some of London’s most high-profile and technically complex commercial developments.

This is an opportunity to work on signature office, mixed-use and large-scale commercial schemes, partnering with major developers, consultants and principal contractors across projects valued from £20m–£150m+ MEP packages.

You’ll play a key commercial role from pre-construction through to final account, supporting the successful delivery of flagship projects that define London’s skyline.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circle Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management of MEP packages throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
  • check_circle Managing cost control, forecasting and reporting across MEP packages
  • check_circle Preparation and submission of valuations, applications and final accounts
  • check_circle Contract administration and commercial management under NEC/JCT forms
  • check_circle Procurement and management of subcontract packages
  • check_circle Managing change control, variations and commercial risk
  • check_circle Supporting project teams to maximise project performance and profitability
  • check_circle Producing CVRs and monthly commercial reports
  • check_circle Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
  • check_circle Supporting project delivery teams through all commercial stages

About You

  • check_circle Proven experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor / Senior MEP QS within the construction or building services sector
  • check_circle Experience delivering major commercial, data centre, life sciences, mixed-use or high-value M&E projects
  • check_circle Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical packages
  • check_circle Experience with NEC and/or JCT contracts
  • check_circle Commercially astute with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • check_circle Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred)
  • check_circle Ambition to progress within a market-leading business
