Air Conditioning Engineer – Commercial Projects

The Opportunity

Our client is a well-established company within the building services sector and is looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team, working across a range of commercial projects throughout London.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for long-term project work with a reputable company, working on a variety of commercial installations and HVAC systems.

The Role

As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault finding of air conditioning systems across commercial sites in London. You will work closely with project managers, site teams and other trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circle Installation and commissioning of air conditioning systems on commercial projects.
  • check_circle Working with VRV/VRF, split and other HVAC systems.
  • check_circle Carrying out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
  • check_circle Testing systems and ensuring they are operating efficiently.
  • check_circle Working from technical drawings and project specifications.
  • check_circle Liaising with site managers, project managers and other contractors.
  • check_circle Completing relevant service sheets and project documentation.
  • check_circle Maintaining excellent health and safety standards on site.
  • check_circle Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timescales.

About You

  • check_circle Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
  • check_circle Strong commercial project experience.
  • check_circle Good knowledge of installation, commissioning and fault finding.
  • check_circle F-Gas certification.
  • check_circle Relevant HVAC/air conditioning qualifications.
  • check_circle The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • check_circle Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • check_circle A professional approach and strong work ethic.
  • check_circle CSCS/ECS certification would be advantageous.
  • check_circle A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
