Gas Engineer – Building Services
The Opportunity
Our client is an established and growing building services business based in Maidstone, providing mechanical and building services solutions across a range of commercial and client sites.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for a long-term position with a professional and supportive business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a range of sites and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned and reactive gas servicing and maintenance.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently and safely.
- Working on commercial and building services installations.
- Testing and commissioning gas appliances and systems.
- Completing service reports and relevant documentation.
- Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and company procedures.
- Liaising professionally with clients, customers and site teams.
- Identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
- Working as part of a wider mechanical and building services team.
About You
- The ideal candidate will be an experienced Gas Engineer with a strong background in building services, commercial maintenance or a similar environment.
- Relevant Gas Engineering qualifications with a current Gas Safe registration.
- Previous commercial or building services experience.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
