Permanent On-site Construction

Project Manager – Highways and Bridge Structures

The Opportunity

An established civil engineering contractor has appointed us to recruit an experienced Project Manager for a long-term programme of highways and structural improvement works across London and the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected infrastructure business delivering essential improvements to one of the UK’s busiest strategic road networks.

The position will involve managing smaller construction projects while also supporting the delivery of larger and more complex schemes. Due to the geographical coverage of the programme, applicants must be comfortable travelling between sites throughout London and the surrounding Home Counties.

Some projects will require planned night and weekend working, so flexibility is essential.

Typical Projects

The programme includes a varied portfolio of highways and bridge-related works, such as:

Concrete and structural repairs
Bridge bearing replacements
Expansion joint replacements
Bridge deck waterproofing and resurfacing
Painting and corrosion-protection works
Ground stabilisation and earthworks
General highways and structures improvement schemes

If you are an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in highways, bridge structures or civil engineering infrastructure, please get in touch.
