My client is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team based in Kent, working on a variety of rail projects in the South East.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their surveying career to grow within a supportive team on high-value, high-profile works.
Your Role Will Include:

Supporting commercial management of rail infrastructure projects

Preparing and submitting valuations, cost tracking, and reporting

Assisting with subcontractor procurement, payment reviews, and variations

Working with NEC contracts and client teams to manage commercial risk

Engaging with site teams and attending project meetings as required
You Should Have:
-
A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

1–2 years’ experience (ideally within a infrastructure environment but not a necessity)

Knowledge of NEC forms of contract preferred

Excellent communication and organisational skills
-
A collaborative approach and willingness to learn
