Rate: £400 per day (Outside IR35)
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Lead the delivery of air conditioning renewal projects across the Underground network, managing all phases from planning through to commissioning, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and contractors, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver high-quality work.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, championing best practices across the project.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Technical Problem Solving: Address and resolve any technical issues that arise, utilizing your mechanical expertise to maintain project momentum.
About You:
- Strong background in Mechanical Project Management, ideally within the rail or infrastructure sector.
- Proven experience in air conditioning or HVAC systems, particularly in large-scale or complex environments.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with rail industry standards and safety protocols.
- Comfortable working in an Outside IR35 contract arrangement.
