Are you an experienced Planning Engineer with a background in MEP and a track record in major infrastructure projects? We have a fantastic contract opportunity on the HS2 project in West Ruislip, working with a dynamic team at the forefront of the UK’s largest infrastructure project.
The Role: We are seeking skilled Planning Engineers with specific experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) within a complex infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and tracking project plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives, and collaborating closely with project teams and stakeholders to meet key milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for MEP aspects of the HS2 project.
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide accurate progress reporting and planning analysis.
- Identify potential project risks and implement strategies for mitigation.
- Contribute to project planning meetings and provide expertise in project scheduling and coordination.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in planning within infrastructure projects, ideally with HS2 or similar scale projects.
- Expertise in MEP systems within a large infrastructure setting.
- Strong skills in project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6).
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex project environment.
