Are you an experienced engineer with a background in civil or mechanical engineering? Do you have a good grasp of quantity surveying, and have you worked on infrastructure projects? We’re looking for a talented Specialist Contractor to join our close-knit team, focusing on projects within the London Underground network.
About the Role: Based at our Canary Wharf office, this role will involve providing surveying support for various London Underground projects. You’ll be joining a small, collaborative team that values each member’s contribution and fosters a supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide commercial / engineering expertise on London Underground projects
- Oversee and manage project budgets, ensuring value and efficiency
- Contractual expertise, utilising the NEC contracts to maximise efficiency and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to meet technical and safety standards
- Contribute to project planning and cost estimation with quantity surveying insights
Requirements:
- Qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng, MEng, or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of experience in civil and/or mechanical engineering, ideally with exposure to quantity surveying
- Knowledge and experience working on infrastructure projects, especially within the London Underground or similar settings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
